It is my pleasure to present the annual report of the school for the year 2017-18. Every body knows that it tries to keep the standard of imparting education standing in the financial difficulties.
The school was established in June 1994. The school aims at imparting quality education through the medium of English in accordance with the syllabus, rules and regulations of Central Board of Secondary Education , New Delhi. We give more emphasize on the moral and cultural developments of the learners irrespective of caste, race, erect and religion.
By using Broad Band internet connection IT Lab has been furnished to meet all challengers in the new learning era.
We also add a few facilities this year for more classrooms. Much more library books were purchased. Modification of Labs will be taken up on priority basis. Increased the recreational facilities for students and staff.
Our school has got Good Results in the AISSE 2018. Out of 42 students 25 got distinction, 14 got first class and 3 got second class. There are 9 students received toppers award in District Level. It is only because of the team work, and hard work of the staff, and the whole hearted support of the management.
Thartheel Central School celebrated the 61stKeralaPiravi Day Prodigiously On November 1, 2017. A great deal of literary activities were conducted to nurture the love and respect for the mother land. Class wise competitions were conducted to decorate the Kerala map by spot collected things from the nature. Competitions were conducted under the Social Club, Malayalam Club and Science Club.
Thartheel got a golden chance to host IAME District level Football Tournament 2017-18. 16 schools participated in this tournament. With the energetic performance of the Thartheel player, they became 2nd Runner Up under 17 category.
The shining star in the tournament was MOHAMMED RAMEES.N (9A) and was selected as the Best Goal Keeper. The grand closing ceremony came to bliss with the esteemed presence of Mr. VINOD, SI, Kottakkal.
The awaited day of children commenced with the morning assembly by the little masters of THARTHEEL. The charming Chachajee conquered everyone heart. Many children got chance to exhibit their hidden talents on this occasion. The performance of the tiny tots added more colour.
Thartheel opened the door to the unending world of fantacy by conducting an exhibition named esterlla 2017 on 16th Nov. Trust member Usman Cherushola inaugurated the function officially. Creative working models, still models, antiques, craft items etc.. filled the heart of spectators. As the name says “Thartheelian” proved that they are the tomorrows estrellas.
Thartheel management took a step to empower the teaching quality by conducting teachers training programmes. Dr. T.O.Paulose a renowned Professor , Rajagiri College enriched the mind of teachers by introducing new techniques and strategies on 30th May 2017.
The second day was handled by Mr. Shibu Kattarakkal on 31st May, 2017, his class truly motivated the teachers to handle the class more confidently.
Science club organized a health awareness class on “Ozone Day”. Dr. SakeerHussain a renowned counselor and propagator of health and hygiene. Created a rejuvenating feel on the students and teachers to become mo conscious about their own health and hygiene.
Thartheel observed World Coconut Day, On 2nd September 2017. The programme was inaugurated by Dinesh. He presented a fruitfull and innovative seminar on the topic agriculture. As part of the day,9th& 10th students conducted an exhibition of craft items and food items made of coconut. The exhibition truly explorered the nutritive value of coconut.
71ST Independence Day celebrated with great zest and zeal by remembering the sacrifice of the freedom fighters. The Principal hoisted the National flag in a patriotic ambiance. As part of this, school displayed a documentary on Indian freedom Movement. The reminiscence of Nehru was highlighted with the posters of Prof Vashist named Glimpse of Nehru.
School ground witnessed the 24th Sports meet on 29th , 30th November 2017. We were lucky to have the famous Liberian football player Mr. Abraham, who inaugurated the Athletic meet.
The competition began with the well Synchronized march past of the five houses. The real sportsman spirit of the students were sited on the tracks and jumping pits. Open tracks provided golden chances for the students to bring out their hidden talents. Friendly match between the students and staff of the Thartheel added more spirit to the meet Emerald bagged the Championship trophy among the five houses.
During closing ceremony the school authorities applauded the exemplary efforts taken by the teachers and students for such a flawless presentation.
Thartheel commemorated the legends of the football by celebrating the National Football Day on 29th September 2017. Students recited football poems penned by Mr. Vashist, Professor Malabar Christian College, Calicut, as a tribute to the commitment of the famous football players.
Tharheel fest 2017 celebrated on 18th and 19thDecember. Manamboor RajanBabu, Malayalam poet, , inaugurated the function. Jb. K.K. Naser, Chairman ,Kottakkal Municipality, released the Melaad Bulletin on the same day. The renowned personalities from religious and cultural field made this occasion grand.
The colourful Kids’ Fest was conducted on 20/12/2017. The functionFest was inaugurated by pathinaalaravu fame ,HAKKEEM PULPATTA,. The blooming buds of Thartheel displayed their charming performance in front the huge crowd.
All programmes conducted here are not listed here, we hope the next academic year will have good activities for children to develop their intellectual, emotional, physical , mental, spiritual, health in accordance with their age and class.
